“THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST KNEE SUPPORTS THAT I HAVE EVER HAD.”
I have had 4 different knee surgeries 2 on each knee and u have osteoarthritis in both knees. As soon as I put these knee supports on and started walk I felt completely different like a normal ability to walk without any pain. I can stand in one place for an extended amount of time without pain. Simply amazing and worth every penny I spent.
“THE BRACE LOOKS PROFESSIONAL AND IS EASY TO PUT ON AND TAKE OFF.”
The brace looks professional and is easy to put on and take off. I don't sleep with it because that would be uncomfortable. It helps keep my leg stable and it was about four times cheaper than what the doctor was going to charge me. It comes with a key to tighten or loosen on the side. I put a string on it to hang the key up on the wall so as not to lose it.
“FORMER 82ND ABN PARATROOPER, HERE. I'VE WORN KNEE BRACES 40+ YEARS, AND AM PLEASANTLY SUPRISED.”
I’m 67” 170 lbs and am able to adjust fit. I added padding from another knee brace beneath the strap at the top of my shin. Wears fine without it, I just like the padding.
HOW DOES THE GAME CHANGER WORK?
Re-aligns your knee for balanced weight distribution.
The Game Changer works by gently re-aligning the knee, redistributing weight off the affected joint. The knee’s anatomy consists of two compartments, one on the inside (medial compartment) and one on the outside (lateral compartment). By gently pushing the knee inward or outward, the brace can shift pressure off the medial or lateral compartment. On top of being designed to help relieve pain, it can also provide stability and help reduce strain on ligaments, cartilage, and surrounding tissues.
Adjustable sizing allows for the perfect fit.
Designed to fit a wide range of anatomies, the Game Changer can be adjusted to fit nearly all people. Unlike expensive, custom braces, the Game Changer’s universal design ensures a snug, secure, and personalized fit. Simply adjust the straps to the desired length, trim as needed, and enjoy the relief you deserve.
Lightweight design so you can wear it without limitations.
The Game Changers lightweight single upright design is worn on the outside of the leg, treating both medial and lateral knee pain. Unlike clunky double upright designs, the Game Changer can easily be worn on both legs without impeding your natural gait pattern. We’ve also incorporated several ease-of-use features, including our easy push buttons, which make it easy for people with hand mobility limitations to apply and remove the brace.

(800) 250-6619Are You Struggling With OA Knee Pain?
Whether you're waiting on surgery or simply ready to get back to living a normal life, Ovation's Game Changer Unloader Knee Brace may be the perfect answer for you!
Osteoarthritis occurs when the cartilage between joints wears away. Since cartilage acts as a natural cushioning between joints, its deterioration results in bones more closely rubbing together, which can lead to swelling, stiffness, pain, or even the formation of bone spurs.
While OA can occur in younger people, Osteoarthritis typically effects people over 55 years of age. Risk factors include, age, heredity, gender, repetitive stress injuries, activity level, and other illnesses.
While Osteoarthritis is typically considered irreversible, there are a couple things that can be done to relieve pain and increase mobility.Pain relievers and anti-inflammatory drugs: Over the counter medications can provide short term relief from pain and swelling, but effectiveness can vary depending on the severity of your condition. Your doctor may also give a prescription if over-the-counter options are not working for you.Injections: Your doctor may provide steroid or hyaluronic acid injections to provide temporary relief. Steroids are a powerful anti-inflammatory drug, and hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring fluid that helps lubricate the joints.Bracing: There are two types of braces used for treating OA, OA unloader knee braces, which work by gently redistributing weight away from the affected side of the knee, and general support braces that provide compression.Physical therapy: Regular exercise can help strengthen supporting muscles and make the joint more flexible. The added stability provided by stronger support muscles can help reduce pain and stiffness.Surgery: Surgery may be a good option if you have not had success with other options. Surgical options include removal of damaged cartilage, reshaping the bone to reduce irritation, and total knee replacement surgery.*Please consult a qualified healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment. Both describe a hinged knee brace that is designed to relieve pressure from the knee.Medial Unloader Knee Brace vs. Lateral Unloader Knee BraceAn arthritis unloader knee brace is designed to reduce pressure on one specific compartment of the knee. A medial unloader knee brace applies a valgus force (pushes outward) to shift weight from the inner, or medial, compartment of the knee to the outer compartment. In contrast, a lateral unloader brace applies a varus force to shift weight from the outer, or lateral, compartment of the knee to the inner compartment, effectively offloading the joint.
You may have heard your doctor use the term “L1843 knee brace.” In healthcare, providers often refer to products using the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS). Put simply, L1843 is the code providers use when referring to a single-upright unloader knee brace.
